Partnerships

The academy embraces a collaborative ethos and understands the benefits that working in partnership brings. As a proud member of Reach South Multi Academy Trust we work closely with other schools and colleagues in the Trust.

We also collaborate with schools in our immediate geographical location, in particular through the North Wiltshire Federation. We also work closely with our neighbours, St.Mary’s School, providing opportunities for mentoring and work experience. We believe this is an excellent example of how public and private schools can work together.

We also work with different stages of education provision, for example higher education establishments. We have a longstanding and successful partnership with Bath Spa University’s Initial Teacher Education department and many of our staff have come through this pathway. We work with the university to provide placements and SEN taster days, receiving specialist knowledge and training in return. We are a member of the LEARN Network, Linked Education and Academic Research Network.

Additionally, as a Chartered College of Teaching network we have an effective partnership with our professional body.
